Manuela PereiraManuela Pereira received the 5-year B.S. degree in Mathetmatics and Computer Science in 1994 and the M. Sc. degree in Computational Mathematics in 1999, both from the University of Minho, Portugal. She received the Ph.D. degree in Signal and Image Prcessing in 2004 from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Beira Interior, Portugal.
