Marc HeberdenMarc Lloyd Heberden was born on 20 March 1956 in Spokane, Washington. His early years were spent in Pullman and later Tacoma. After his studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham and the University of Washington in Seattle, where he earne a degree in journalism, he worked as a newspaper editor and award-winning journalist. Moving to Europe in the early 1980s he wrote for newspapers and magazines and began writing short stories, novels and screenplays. Since 1999 he has lived with his wife Christine in a small town southwest of Paris where they raised their three children, Maurine, Joyce and Cliff.
