Marcel Tilly

Marcel TillyMarcel Tilly has received a Master’s degree in physics at the Technical University of Dortmund. Since then he has worked for more than 10 years in the area of software development and engineering. During this time he worked in a variety of roles withn the technical architecture teams of several projects on the development of large distributed software systems. His work was primarily focused on model-driven development and service-oriented architecture. In 2006 he joined the European Microsoft Innovation Center in Aachen as a Program Manager. In this role he is mainly focused on service-oriented computing, service compositions, and event-stream processing. He was co-chairing the workshops (NFPSLA-SOC and NFPSLAM) about non-functional properties and service level agreements for service-oriented computing.
