Marcia LeiterOne summer not long ago, Marcia Leiter grew too many tomatoes. She did not make ketchup or tomato pie. Instead, she sat down and drew two ears, dots for eyes and a sundress. Thus, Sweet Pea came to life and began to tell her story. String Bean came aong because everybunny needs a good friend to help solve life's difficult problems. The two of them found a way to get rid of their tomatoes...but Marcia did not. She is still working on that. Marcia has studied writing, drawing, painting, graphic design and gardening, in that order. Bunnies make themselves at home in her yard, and mice occasionally scamper about in the attic. All these particulars came together with the creating of Sweet Pea and her Tale of TOO MANY TOMATOES! Between weeding her garden and making pickles Marcia continues to write more Sweet Pea stories.
