Margaret A WestlieMargaret Westlie was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a descendant of the Selkirk Settlers who came to Prince Edward Island in 1803. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax and worked as a registered nurse before discovering her talent for riting. She received a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has lived in Prince Edward Island since 2012, where she writes and publishes novels and poetry.
