Margaret Scutt
Margaret Alice Scutt (1905-1988) was born in Weymouth, Dorset, where her father was Schoolmaster at St. John's. Margaret also became a teacher, and after a career of over forty years she retired in 1966 as Deputy Head at Sylvan Scool, Poole. Throughout her life, Margaret wrote in many formats including short stories, playlets, and verse; two historical novels were published in 1947 and 1949, I Do But Follow and And Some There Be respectively.
