Marian E KeenMarian Keen is a Canadian children's author and visual artist with a special interest in historical fiction for children and youth. Marian's middle-grade stories for children include The Adventures of Alexander Catt, and Lexi Catt's Meowmoirs-Tales o Heroic Scientists. These meowmoirs bring to life famous people and significant milestones in science, medicine, art, exploration and human development. Her young adult novel, Verity, is set in medieval Europe. Marian received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Central Connecticut State University, with a major in middle-grade education, and taught grades five and six.
