Mariela RivaMariela Riva was born in and has always lived in Argentina. As a child she became passionate about languages and literature. From a very young age, she wrote poetry and plays. At the university she studied teaching and English translation. She has woked for many years as an English and Spanish teacher. In 2008 she began doing technical, scientific, and literary translations as a freelancer. With her knowledge of English and her training in literature, literary translation is a perfect combination of her two great passions, and it is a job she thoroughly enjoys.
