Mark BuddI was born in Colchester England, well before the advent of the Internet and AI. After spending several years in South Africa my family moved to Australia in 1982. I completed my schooling in Mount Isa (North Queensland) and studied at James Cook Uniersity in Townsville where I now live with my wife Narrissa, who is still the love of my life, and my best friend. We have two marvellous adult children who are now making their own way through life.I started writing the Black Arrows when I was 17 years old. The first draft grew dusty in my draw when life got busy. When I finally revisited the manuscript, I found that the story had, like me, morphed and changed. It now spans five novels and charts the life of four people who mean a lot to me: they have been my escape and I hope they can be yours.All five books have been completed. At the time of writing this, the first four have been edited by the irrepressible Helen Bethune-Moore and fifth and final instalment will be completed in 2026.
