He is the author of Biomechatronics and Robotics, published in 2014 by Pan Standard Publishing. Dr. Popovic is a membr of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, and serves as a reviewer for a number of leading journals such as The International Journal of Neuroengineering and Rehabiliation and the Journal of Biomechanics. His research interests focus on engineering robotics systems that assist and augment humans, biomechatronics, biomechanics, neuroscience and sensorimotor control.
