Marlene DonnelleyCo-author Marlene Hill Donnelly is a writer and artist, with degrees in both art and zoology. She has been a staff illustrator for the Field Museum for over twenty years. She travels widely to write and to paint wildlife subjects and is a veteran scua diver. Marlene also illustrates children's books, textbooks, and botanical books. She teaches classes and workshops at the Field Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago Botanic Garden. Marlene lives in Glenview, Illinois, with her husband, Rett, and their four dogs.
