Dr. Marlyn Bennett (WaaWaaTe Ikwe | Northern Lights Woman) is a proud member of the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation and an Associate Professor in Social Work and Education at the University of Calgary. She holds a Tier II Canada Reearch Chair in Indigenous Children’s Wellbeing.
