Marn J ChaMarn J. Cha, Ph.D., (University of Southern California), is a professor emeritus of political science and public administration at California State University, Fresno. He authored the influential book Koreans in Central California: A Study of Settlemnt and Transnational Politics, published in 2010. In 2023, he released A Primer of the Values and Principles of the Young Korean Academy. Cha is a former founding president of the Central California Korean Historical Society and received the Global Korea Award in 2009 for his historical preservation efforts.
