Marvyn HarrisonMarvyn Harrison is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant and the founder of Dope Black Dads, a support group and podcast that works to challenge outdated stereotypes about Black fatherhood and cultivating a progressive, inclusive communty of parents. Marvyn previously has had a long career in music and advertising, spending over a decade in the industry working with a variety of clients, from artists such as Ed Sheeran and Samsung to Manchester City Football Club.

He started Dope Black Dads on Father's Day 2018, when it was made up of him and his friends sharing their experiences and challenges as Black fathers in a WhatsApp and Facebook group. Today, the organization has reached tens of thousands of people across the UK, US and South Africa, won awards, and created a global collective of mums, dads, queer, disabled, men and women community groups.

Marvyn lives in London and has two children, Blake and Ocean, who star in his picture books I Love Me! and The Best Me!, and with with whom he does confidence-boosting affirmations everyday. Read More Read Less
