Mary Aris
Mary Aris has been a resident of Anglesey since 1976 and has continually explored and researched the island’s history and historic landscapes. As an Archivist by profession, her whole career has been involved in Archives, Welsh Hstory and Local History. Few people can be better qualified to tackle the daunting task of compiling a history of Aberffraw when it was ruled by its own independent kings and princes. This is the first comprehensive early history of this region under its own independent kings and princes.
