Mary Bevans GillettMary Bevans Gillett is the executive director for the Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Network, a regional arts services organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening the collective power of artists, culture bearers, arts and cultural organzations, the creative sector and vibrant communities throughout northern lower Michigan. A member of Michigan Writers, she has been a frequent contributor to regional publications including the Traverse City Record-Eagle and the Traverse City Business News, and regular participant at Interlochen Center for the Arts' annual Writers Retreat and the Writability Guild. From 2016-2024, Gillett led the Network's annual Northwest Michigan Arts & Culture Summit which helped plant the seeds for this Transformational anthology and the MACC Community Partners grant project.
