Mary BridsonMary Bridson was born in 1946, and raised in rural England. She read a degree in History at Oxford, and emigrated to Canada with her husband at the age of 24. After living in Edmonton and Fredericton for a short time, they moved to Newfoundland, wher they lived in and around St. John's for 40 years. They now make Ottawa their home. Her working life involved various archives, academic and public libraries, and the Newfoundland Historical Society.
