Mary DurackMary Durack (1913–1994) grew up on the Argyle and Ivanhoe stations in the East Kimberleys in Western Australia and became a prolific writer. In her best-known book, Kings in Grass Castles, she details her grandfather's epic journey in the 1890s acros Australia in order to establish pastoral stations in WA.
