Mat Watson is regarded as one of the world’s most trusted and popular motoring journalists. In a career spanning 25 years his journalism has appeared in Auto Express, The Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday, Sun,and Daily Telegraph. He has appeared as an expert and host on BBC and ITV programs, including ITV4's motoring show I Want That Car in 2013.

In 2016, Mat joined Carwow to launch their YouTube channel, which he’s transformed into one of the world’s most followed car accounts. The main channel boasts over 10 million subscribers and over 4.3 billion views, complemented by localised versions in multiple languages. As Carwow’s Chief Content Officer, Mat also oversees editorial content across their websites and magazines, including Auto Express and Evo. In addition to Carwow, Mat has built a significant personal following across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, with a combined audience of over 3.8 million. This is his first book.
