Matt Rogala
The author is a trained geneticist and has been involved in financial markets for over 30 years. He has written five financial guides on investment funds - "Open Investment Funds. The Rules Are Simple" (Helion, 2006), pension funds - "The Third Pilar of Your Pension" (Edinem, 2012), prudent investing in stocks and bonds - "The Prudent Investor. Get Your Way" (2013, Helion), and personal finance - "The 500+ Program: How to Incorporate Additional Family Capital" (Helion, 2014) - aimed at those unfamiliar with the subject. In each book, he strives to make the incomprehensible clear and understandable.
He has also written a guide for professionals - "How to Effectively Offer Investment Products" (Edinem, 2008).
He is the author of several feature-length film scripts, which have won numerous awards at international film competitions.
He also wrote a very personal book, "Why I'm Not an Atheist," under the pseudonym Mark Lipski. The title was inspired by Bertrand Russell's "Why I'm Not a Christian," though the author takes the opposite stance.
Matt Rogala, despite tackling tedious financial topics, strives to deliver them in a way that makes them enjoyable to read. It's worth quoting one of his reviews of the book "Open-End Investment Funds. The Rules Are Simple" The book is more than good. Although it covers tedious topics, it reads like a good thriller.
