Mavis DonnerMavis Donner received her Ph.D. in English from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. She has been an English teacher and lecturer at several schools and universities around the world and at Webster University in Leiden, The Netherlands,where she lectured for 22 years, teaching English composition, literature and creative writing. The Writers' Circle she set up there for writers met regularly to discuss and share their talents.
