Max LomasMax Lomas was born just after World WarTwo and grew up in country towns in SouthAustralia. He went with his parents to Papuain the 1960s, dabbled with 'hippie' communeideals and anti-war protest in the 'seventies, and became a teacher for a number ofears, ending up in New South Wales aftertravels to all the places referred to in hispoetry collection.
