MAX TURNER writes urban fantasy books and is also a science and physical education teacher. His first novel, Night Runner, was a Red Maple Award Honour Book and a finalist for the Sunburst Award. Its sequel, End of Das, was shortlisted for the Ottawa Book Award. He lives in Ottawa with his wife and three children.
