He performed numerous ceremonies, including weddings, funerals, sermons, and baptisms. He has also spent a lifetime in the medcal missionary field, both domestic and abroad. Because of his interest in history, he began teaching and eventually obtained his PhD in American Revolutionary history. While Dr. Turrentine remains interested in all aspects of history, he is also a seaplane pilot and an instructor of scuba diving specialties, and he travels the world in pursuit of the perfect diving spots.
