Md. Ejaz AnwerDr. Md. Ejaz Anwer is presently Senior Research Associate, Indian Council of Agricultural Research-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (ICAR-NIAP), New Delhi. He did his M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of conomics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He is a distinguished life member of the Indian Economic Association (IEA), and Indian Political Economy Association (IPEA). Previously, he worked in the capacity of research associate in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT-Roorkee, Uttarakhand and ICAR-NIAP on various Government-sponsored projects under the supervision of eminent agriculture professionals as well as economists of India. He also worked as an Assistant Professor and Convener of Training and Placement Cell in Techwords Engineering and Management Institute, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Dr. Ejaz is a regular participant in various national seminars and workshops. He has published several research papers and articles in journals of international and national repute. He also co-authored the technical report on Dubaliya (Jharkhand)A Village Profile under ICAR-ICRISAT collaborating project sponsored by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. His current areas of research interest include food security, market intelligence, farm income and issues related to diversification of agriculture in favour of horticulture and livestock.
