Megan Edwards<

Megan Edwards is the author of Full Service Blonde, Getting Off on Frank Sinatra, and Strings: A Love Story. All three novels were first-place winners of Benjamin Franklin book awards in 2018. Edwards is also the author of Roads from the Ashes: An Odyssey in Real Life on the Virtual Frontier, a memoir about her five-year adventure living and working on the road.

Her writing career had its beginnings in a Southern California wildfire that burned down her house at the end of 1993. She hit the road with her husband and dog for what she predicted would be a six-month sabbatical. Five years later, they were still “out there,” seizing whatever opportunities for work and experience that came along. Edwards began work on a novel whose protagonist was a Las Vegas native. Recognizing she lacked knowledge about Southern Nevada, she and her husband moved into an RV park on Boulder Highway for what they thought would be a three- or four-week stay. Edwards is still in Las Vegas nearly two decades later.
