Megan Mary MitchellMegan Mary Mitchell was born in the Washington D.C. suburb of Silver Spring, Maryland; the daughter of an Early Childhood elementary schoolteacher and a NASA engineer. At the age of three, her family relocated to the bucolic town of Berlin on Marylan's Eastern Shore where she spent her formative years reading, acting in children's theater, and hanging out on the beach at nearby Ocean City. Along with her younger sister, Katie, she was educated in the excellent Worcester County School System. Despite being an Honors student excelling in disciplines such as math and physics, she showed no interest in these subjects, much to the chagrin of her engineer father. Instead she was drawn to drama and literature. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in 2015. Ever practical, she pursued a degree in Accounting at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. However, she minored in literature to keep alive her passion for the written word. Today, Megan resides in Baltimore, Maryland and works for a major international accounting firm.
