Melanie HumberdMelanie was born in Germany and raised in a military family. She moved around quite often until she was in 7th grade. After her father's retirement, her family moved to Missouri. Recently, Melanie moved out to Olympia, WA to be closer to family. Currntly, she is working for a local school district with special needs preschoolers. She is the mom of an amazing, talented 13 year old, Spencer, and is a foster parent. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends that live all over the United States. Rising Phoenix, the first published book from Melanie, has been a bucket list item for her and she is absolutely thrilled to be sharing it with you.
