Melanie MaddyMelanie Maddy born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She lives on Camano Island, Washington with her husband, 2 dogs, 1 cat and too many chickens. Melanie spent summers with her Grandparents who lived in Mazama, Washington. As a child the trip fro Mazama to Winthrop and Twisp to get groceries was an all day event. A day with views of the Methow Valley and river, fields of deer and other wildlife, bridges, roadways and the quaint small towns of Winthrop and Twisp Washington. She is a singer-songwriter and author of In A Child's Eyes and The Long Way To Town Her books are a reflective collection of childhood experiences she wanted to pass down to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
