Meththika Vithanage

Dr. Meththika Vithanage is a Professor in the Department of Geochemistry at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland, Denmark. Her work centers on quantifying concentrations and reaction kinetics of key and emerging pollutants, includng microplastics, and Persistent, Mobile and Toxic contaminants. She advances understanding of their environmental fate and transport and develops remediation strategies using innovative geo-, bio-, and nanomaterials.
