Mf James

MF James is an author and illustrator who creates fiction and nonfiction for children using various styles to bring books to life. She studied graphic design at university in Mexico City, painting/photography at the Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in lorence, and animation/media arts at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. MF spent fifteen years as a digital artist on award-winning films, such as Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, James Bond and Batman, using specialized software to create stunning special effects. She now teaches art at her studio, Start Studios, and is a volunteer worker in oncology at Great Ormond Street Hospital which inspired her to create her own series of medical books.
