Michael BarmishMichael Barmish, born and raised in Philadelphia, is a Hollywood writer now based in Berlin, Germany. After graduating from Temple University and moving to Los Angeles, Michael was hired to write several film and video projects, including the family ilm, Kid Cop, produced by Brainstorm Media. Kid Cop aired on HBO and ABC Family networks and was the featured film in the KidFest film festival. In addition, he has worked as a writer on several screenplays optioned by various Hollywood production companies. Michael's holiday comedy, @Santa, won first place in the Holiday Screenplay Contest. Michael is a member of the Los Angeles Writers Center, whose members consist of award-winning writers, directors, actors, and dramaturges. He has also written an award-winning play, 10/9, and authored the book, The Ensuite Life: Traveling the World and Avoiding the Toilet at the End of the Hall. Michael's current script development projects include the TV comedy-drama series, Berlin Nomad, with Free Your Mind GmbH in Germany and the romantic-comedy TV movies, Coming Back to Love and Always the Bridesmaid with Reel One Entertainment (UK/US).
