Michael Boughen

Michael Boughen has worked as an actor, writer, director and producer in the film and entertainment industry in UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. He has written stage plays, TV drama, films and light entertainment shows. A prolific producer, is credits include Erky Perky, Figaro Pho and major event TV such as MTV VMAs, Nickelodean Kid's Choice Awards and Big Brother. He produced the very first English-speaking version of Deal or No Deal.

Michael wrote and produced the feature film Dying Breed (2008), and produced Sean Byrne's The Loved Ones (2009), Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010), Killer Elite starring Jason Statham and Robert de Niro (2011), Storm Boy for Sony (2019), Interceptor (2022) and wrote the feature Great White released in 2021. A prolific creator, he has created and written over 2000 hours of programming including the ABC hit Muster Dogs. He currently producing Bruce Beresford's latest film Overture. Michael lives in Knowsley, Victoria
