Michael InouyeMichael Inouye is a Perth-based artist with a Bachelor of Creative Industries, Animation from Edith Cowan University (2013 - 2021). When people ask him where he's from, he tells them his ancestors are from Texas, Australia, England, Hawaii, Japan, an probably a few other places. His artwork is everywhere-he's painted store windows, illustrated chocolate packaging, created medical infographic pamphlets, animated graphics for the 6 p.m. news, and illustrated his first book, Tumblagooda: the story of a strange lost thing, working alongside author Suzanne Ingelbrecht.Michael enjoys creating complex, intricate artwork, mainly using ink.
