Michael James Nugent

Michael James NugentFollowing a long career in Public Service, Michael James Nugent developed a long held interest in the Great War when he started to research his family history. He manages a research business - WW1ResearchIE - Ireland which researches the military service of those predominantly serving with Irish Regiments for relatives, and has carried out comprehensive research projects for local authorities and local community groups. The author of 'It was an Awful Sunday. The 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers at the Battle of Festubert, 15-17 May 1915', he is a Trustee of the Inniskillings Museum, a member of the Western Front Association and an associate member of History Hub Ulster.
