Mieko HorikoshiMieko was born and raised in Japan and immigrated to the island of Maui, Hawai'i. Since childhood, Mieko has always been fascinated by how the light adds drama to the original scene. She has been a professional photographer since 2000 and has been awrded the Kodak Gallery Award, Photographic Excellence in 2013. Foodelia International Food Photography Awards recognized her as a top photographer in 2016. Her work has been published both locally and globally.
