Miguel Matos TorresMiguel M. Torres is an INSOL international fellow and an international business and cross-border restructuring expert with experience as a Lecturer of International Business and Director of Studies of the MSc. in International Business at Kent Busines School, University of Kent, UK. His international experience includes visiting scholar positions at Uppsala University (Sweden), Politecnico Di Milano (Italy), KU Leuven (Belgium), Instituto Federal Goiano (Ceres, GO) and Universidade Federal de Goiás (Brazil). He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Aveiro (Portugal), partly developed at Leeds University Business School, and his MSc in Management from the University of Algarve & Lisbon School of Economics. He also completed executive programs at Harvard School of Public Health, Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and University College London (UK). He is an active member of the Academy of International Business, the European International Business Association, and INSOL International. His work has been published in the International Business Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Academy of International Business Insights, Multinational Business Review, Journal of Economic Methodology, INSOL International Insolvency Review, and AIB Insights, as well as in various books and chapters in Emerald, IGI Global, Palgrave, and Springer.
