Mihir ChakravartiBorn in 1940 the author did his Senior Cambridge from La Martiniére School, under Cambridge University in 1957 and went on first, to the Presidency College, Calcutta and then Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, graduating as an engineer in 1963. The, after a few years as an engineer, studied law at the University College of Law, Calcutta earning a degree in the Law in 1972. After a long stint as a practicing lawyer in the Calcutta High Court he finally retired from active profession. Then the pandemic struck and made us all prisoners at home. It was then that he decided to take up the pen to write fiction. Instead of dry facts he had written all his working life in briefs he held for his clients.
