Mike CooperMIKE COOPER bought a DSLR camera in the late 1990s and started taking vacation photos. After seeing long-exposure night photos of abandoned sites along old Route 66, he started doing research, and his first official night photography session occurredon a family vacation on New Year's Eve in 2009. In the years since then, he has traversed the country searching for abandoned locations and photographing those same locations in the dark.
