Mike EbdyMike grew up in Middlesbrough and qualified in Liverpool in 1979. He undertook GP training in Ormskirk, Lancashire, and worked as a GP principal in mid-Wales. He took over a single-handed practice in Tarleton, West Lancashire in 1987, which now has sx partners, and worked there for 32 years. He was a GP trainer for many years, as well as vocational training scheme Course Organiser. His interests in complaints originated while serving on the South Lancashire Local Medical Committee, and grew steadily during the nineteen years he was Complaints Director for the local out of hours service. As well as dealing with other people's problems he has had to deal with plenty of his own, including a GMC referral. He is married with two grown up children, and retired from practice in August 2019. His retirement plans include wildlife photography, learning French, and following his beloved Middlesbrough Football Club. Read More Read Less
