Mike LesterMike Lester is a former political journalist and commentator in Tasmania where he has worked for the ABC, the Launceston Examiner, the Burnie Advocate and the Hobart Mercury. He worked as a political adviser to former Tasmanian Premier Jim Bacon betwen 1998 and 2002. Mike has run several public relations and media communication businesses. He is currently a PhD candidate researching how the legacies of past government formation and performance effect the formation of subsequent governments in hung parliaments in Australia.
