Growing up near this rugged waterway, I spent countless hours hiking, tubing, cliff diving, and fishing-experiences that ade it the perfect setting for my first novel. With Mitch Wilde, a character inspired by Fox Mulder from The X-Files, I set out to explore strange phenomena against the wild backdrop of the Pacific Northwest. One day, I sat down with this idea, and several months and 85,000 words later, book one was finished.
