Miles Johnson has been an investigative reporter for the Financial Times since 2008, as a correspondent in London, New York, Rome and Madrid. Throughout his career he has carried out important journalistic investigations that uncovered issues such as money laundering, the Italian mafia or narco-terrorism. He also hosts the podcast Hot Money: The New Narcos, a production of Pushkin Industries and the Financial Times. Shadows of Crime is his first Non-Fiction book; with this he won the recognition as the Best New Author at the 2024 True Crime Awards, held in the United Kingdom.
