Milos CrnjanskiMilos Crnjanski (1893-1977) is considered one of the foremost Yugoslav literary figures of the twentieth century. A leader among the Serbian avant-garde after WWI, he was declared persona non grata by the Communist Party, which took control of the contry after the Second World War. He lived in exile, mostly in London, for almost twenty-five years, living an obscure life in London before returning home in 1965.
