Milton has been working majorly in the domain of ecological sciences for the last 22 years. His main interes is to understand how land use
and environment changes aff ect plant and animals’ community and ecosystem functi oning on temporal and spati al scales. He is the principal
investi gator at the Spati al Ecology and Conservati on Lab (LEEC) and is a member of the research groups of Environmental Research Center
(CEA, UNESP) and Center for Research on Biodiversity Dynamics and Climate Change (BioGate). Milton has published more than 200 research
