His main interes is to understand how land useand environment changes aff ect plant and animals’ community and ecosystem functi oning on temporal and spati al scales. He is the principalinvesti gator at the Spati al Ecology and Conservati on Lab (LEEC) and is a member of the research groups of Environmental Research Center(CEA, UNESP) and Center for Research on Biodiversity Dynamics and Climate Change (BioGate).
