Mohamed Baraka
Mohamed BarakaAn Egyptian writer, novelist, and short story writer, born in 1972, . He works as a journalist for "Al-Ahram" newspaper and an وinstitution and has been residing in Cairo since the late nineties. He holds a "Bachelor of Ats and Education" from Mansoura University, English Language Department, and also obtained a "Special Diploma" in English Literature from Ain Shams University. He won the "Akhbar Al-Adab" Egyptian newspaper award for short stories in 1994 and was the youngest contestant at the awards ceremony, which Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz attended.
