Mohammed Said HjiouijMohammed Said Hjiouij, a Moroccan novelist, was born on April 1, 1982. He is the author of "By Night in Tangier," which won the inaugural Ismail Fahd Ismail Prize in 2019. His second novel, "The Riddle of Edmond Amran El Maleh," has been shortlisted or "The Ghassan Kanafani Prize for Arabic Fiction (2022)," and the Hebrew translation of the book is published by Van Leer Institute Press & Pardes Publishing.
