Mohd Syazwan AbdullahMohd Syazwan Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, College of Arts and Sciences at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah Malaysia and hold the post of Deputy Director of International Telecommunication Union (ITU)-UUM Asi Pacific Center of Excellence for Rural ICT Development . He is a member of Social and Organisational Computing research group, where he teaches and conduct research in the areas of knowledge management, ontology, data warehouse, ICT for development and information engineering. Syazwan hold a PhD in Computer Science (Software Engineering & Knowledge Engineering) from the University of York, UK. His Masters degree in Information Technology and Bachelor degree in Information Technology was obtained from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He has successfully supervised 3 PhD candidates and many masters project in the last 5 years. He serves in the editorial member of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management and program committee of several national conference related to knowledge management and information systems.
