Participating with Delta Company 3D LAI in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm left such a lasting impact that Monte was prompte to write and share his true life experiences during these tours of duty. Having the greatest commanders and being with the finest Marines and Navy Corpsmen to ever grace a battlefield, was truly an honor.
