Morna YoungMorna Young is a playwright, actress and musician from a wee fishing village in the North East of Scotland. She was recipient of the 2017 Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship where she explored the theme 'the Folk, the Language and the Landscape of the North ast'. Other accolades include: the 'Tomorrow at Noon' award for female playwrights 2018 (Jermyn Street Theatre) and the New Playwrights Award 2014 (Playwrights' Studio, Scotland). She was playwright-in-residence for BATS Theatre and Toi Põneke Arts Centre in Wellington, New Zealand in 2018 as part of an ongoing international exchange between Scotland and New Zealand (Playmarket and Playwrights' Studio, Scotland).
